Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. Bags ₹96.51 Crore EPC Contract for 28.6 MW Solar Project

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. (Waaree RTL) has announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) worth ₹96.51 crore for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 28.60 MWac / 39.80 MWp ground-mounted solar power project on a turnkey basis. The project is scheduled for completion during FY 2026-27, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

This award reinforces Waaree RTL’s strong presence in India’s rapidly expanding solar EPC sector. Manmohan Sharma, CFO of Waaree Renewable Technologies, said, “India’s solar EPC sector is rapidly evolving, and our integrated capabilities place us at the forefront of this transformation. With a robust solar EPC unexecuted orderbook of 3.48 GWp, we are strategically positioned to execute large-scale, integrated energy projects and lead India’s energy transition, serving value across the lifecycle from design to O&M. Further, the company is also building substations and transmission lines for specific solar projects.”

The company confirmed that no promoter or group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, ensuring compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.

This project adds to Waaree RTL’s growing portfolio of EPC projects, following a series of significant orders in 2025, including:

  • INR 156.66 crore EPC contract for a 150 MWac / 217.5 MWp project (October 2025)
  • INR 1,252.43 crore EPC order for an 870 MWac / 1,218 MWp grid-connected project with substation, transmission, and two-year O&M (September 2025)
  • INR 26.17 crore for 21 MWac / 29.4 MWp under Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (July 2025)
  • INR 346.33 crore for 300 MWac / 435 MWp ground-mounted solar project (June 2025)
  • INR 114.23 crore for 94 MWac / 131.6 MWp project under MSKVY 2.0 (May 2025)

In Q2 FY26, Waaree RTL reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of INR 774.78 crore, reflecting a 47.73% growth over Q2 FY25.

With an unexecuted order book of 3.48 GWp to be executed over the next 12–15 months and a bidding pipeline of around 27 GWp, Waaree RTL continues to strengthen its position as a leading integrated solar EPC service provider in India, contributing to the country’s clean energy transition.
