At a special innovation exhibition in Logicor’s Garonor Park in Paris on July 7, Westwell, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) logistics business, revealed its extensive smart and green logistics solutions.
Partners and clients of Logicor and Westwell attended the event, where Westwell showcased its innovative developments in new energy commercial vehicles, battery-swapping infrastructure, and autonomous logistics.
For this initiative, Logicor, a European logistics real estate owner and manager, has donated 1200 square meters of space in its Paris logistics park. The Garonor logistics park, located in the heart of Paris, is mainly intended for Logicor’s diverse clientele that is interested in supply chain and distribution.
Westwell showcased its whole range of intelligent logistics technology during the event, such as green battery-swapping stations, autonomous new energy commercial vehicles, and sophisticated software systems. The future of intelligent and sustainable freight transportation in Europe was examined in-depth with participants.
The flagship product from Westwell, the completely autonomous, cabinless electric Q-Truck, is made especially for confined spaces and incorporates LiDAR, AI cameras, and cutting-edge sensors for vision, placement, control, and decision-making. With a maximum towing capacity of 75 tons and a maximum range of 150 kilometers, the Q-Truck facilitates high-efficiency transport operations around-the-clock. Each Q-Truck, which is powered by green energy, contributes significantly to environmental sustainability by lowering CO₂ emissions by 50 tons each year. The Q-Truck is already widely used in many nations and areas, such as the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, Mexico, and others.
Additionally, Westwell has created the E-vehicle, an intelligent new energy heavy-duty vehicle that can be upgraded, to serve clients at various phases of transition. Customers may easily and affordably transition to autonomous driving at their own speed with this cutting-edge vehicle’s flexible switching between manual and automated driving modes.
Westwell unveiled Wellbot, an intelligent logistics robot designed for intelligent warehouse management, freight handling, and precise sorting in manufacturing and warehousing settings. Wellbot streamlines the whole “truck-dock-warehouse” freight process and greatly improves on-site operational efficiency by enabling precise cargo identification, autonomous navigation, and effective coordination with Q-Truck through the use of multi-sensor technologies and AI big models.
Based on years of operational expertise in various scenarios, Westwell leverages the potential of supply chain data to unlock greater commercial value. The advanced intelligent and connected logistics platform Loopo, developed by Westwell, is specifically designed to transform multi-modal transportation operations in warehouse and logistics park environments. Built on cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, Loopo delivers an all-encompassing solution by seamlessly integrating smart docking platforms, automated warehousing systems, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Predictive Transportation Management Systems (PTMS), and advanced traffic management systems.
The showcase is not merely a technological trial but also a promising global collaboration with significant market expansion potential.
It is revealed that a proof of concept has been implemented at Gar o nor Park as part of an innovative showcase area. In the future, Westwell will carry out further technical validation and make joint efforts with Logicor to boost market promotion to deliver customized, efficient, and green intelligent logistics services tailored to European customers.
Kay Yang, CEO of Westwell Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, stated:
“This collaboration with Logicor marks a significant milestone in Westwell’s global commercialization journey. Leveraging this new global innovation platform, we aim to accelerate the commercialization of our solutions in global markets and enhance our global service support capabilities.”
Laurent Dubos, Logicor Country Manager France, commented:
“We are delighted to support Westwell through the offering of space where the innovative programmes that will benefit our customers and their focus on improving their environmental impact can be tested and shown.”
With a focus on seaports, air cargo terminals, manufacturing hubs, railway logistics, cross-border transportation, and other logistics scenarios, Westwell has provided services to more than 200 users in 28 countries and regions worldwide to date. The company will continue to invest time and resources in advancing intelligent green technology, which will increase innovation and value for users of smart, large-scale logistics worldwide.
One of the top developers, managers, and owners of logistics real estate in Europe is Logicor. The firm can assist more than 2,000 clients thanks to its portfolio of facilities, which, as of December 2024, includes more than 19 million square meters of warehouse space at strategic transportation hubs and near significant population centers.
The partnership between Logicor and Westwell represents a major advancement in the long-term evolution of international logistics. The two sides hope to advance the global logistics sector toward a more intelligent, effective, and sustainable future by introducing “intelligent” and “green” technology.
