Adani Green Energy Appoints Poly Singh Arora as Chief People Officer

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has appointed Poly Singh Arora as its Chief People Officer (CPO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its renewable energy business.

Arora brings more than 23 years of experience in human resources, talent management, organizational transformation, and strategic business partnering. In her new role, she will lead AGEL’s people strategy with a focus on building a high-performance culture, strengthening leadership capabilities, driving talent development, and aligning human capital initiatives with the company’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.

Before joining Adani, Poly Singh Arora served as Head – HR at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where she worked closely with the leadership team to drive HR transformation and enhance organizational capability.

Earlier, she spent nearly six years at VFS Global as Regional HR Head – South Asia, leading HR strategy across multiple geographies. She also held the position of AGM – HR at Vodafone India, where she contributed to talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and performance management.

With extensive expertise in strategic HR leadership, workforce planning, employee engagement, change management, and organizational development, Arora has consistently aligned people strategies with business priorities to build high-performing teams.

Her appointment reflects Adani Green Energy’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership team and fostering a people-first culture to support long-term business growth and organizational excellence.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) is one of the largest renewable companies in India, with a Total Operational Renewable Portfolio of 14,242.9 MW. AGEL is part of the Adani Group’s promise to provide a better, cleaner and greener future for India. Driven by the Group’s philosophy of ‘Growth with Goodness’, the Company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains utility-scale grid-connected solar and wind farm projects. The electricity generated is supplied to central and state government entities and government-backed corporations.

On the back of long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) of 25 years with central and state government entities, AGEL has leveraged its capabilities and expanded its presence across 12 Indian states. The Company deploys the latest technologies in its projects. With a portfolio of 54 operational projects and 12 projects under construction, AGEL is driving India on its renewable energy journey.
