Advait Energy Secures 180 MW/360 MWh BESS Project in Gujarat

Ahmedabad-based Advait Energy Transitions has secured an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract worth INR 7.43 crore from Gujarat BESS for the development of a 180 MW/360 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Sanand, Gujarat.

The company announced that the scope of work includes supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the plant, with mechanical completion targeted by November 30, 2025, and final charging scheduled for December 23, 2025.

This latest win strengthens Advait’s growing portfolio in the energy transition space. Formerly known as Advait Infratech, the company has been making strategic strides in clean energy and infrastructure solutions.

In March 2025, Advait bagged a turnkey solutions contract from Adani Green Energy Six for a 100 MWac solar project at the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project in Gujarat. In January 2025, it signed an MoU with Haryana City Gas Distribution (Bhiwadi) Ltd. to set up a 2,000 MTPA green hydrogen plant.

Additionally, Advait Energy Transitions received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under the SIGHT Scheme Tranche-II for a 200 MW alkaline electrolyser manufacturing facility. The company also won a project from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. for integrating 40,000 off-grid solar pumps with SCADA software under the PM KUSUM Component ‘B’ scheme.

Established in 2009, Advait Energy Transitions originally focused on power transmission, substation, and telecommunication infrastructure. In 2023, it pivoted into the renewable energy sector through its subsidiaries—A&G Hydrogen Technologies, Advait Greenergy, and Advait Energy Holdings—further cementing its role in India’s energy transition journey.

“The company specialises in stringing tools, ACS wire manufacturing OPGW operations, ERS. tumkey telecom projects, live line installations, green energy, Alkaline, and PEM electrolyser systems, fuel cell systems, hydrogen refuelling station (HRS), hydrogen blending system, and hydrogen storage units, insulators, conductors, transmission line towers stringing tools, power transmission, and substation services” The Company Mentioned.
