    Avaada Group Expands Renewable Footprint with 5.2 GW Capacity, Targets 14 GW by 2027

    Avaada Group, a leading renewable energy company, has commissioned 5.2 GW of renewable energy projects across nine states through its subsidiary, Avaada Energy. The company has secured 14 GW in long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and aims to reach full operational capacity by 2027, according to an official statement.

    Avaada Group is currently setting up a 6 GW wafer-to-cell production line in Nagpur, expected to be operational by December 2025. Additionally, a 5 GW solar module manufacturing facility is slated to begin operations by June 2024.

    Through its manufacturing arm, Avaada Electro, the company is working toward India’s self-reliance in solar energy with an integrated silicon-to-module production ecosystem. It is also developing energy storage solutions to enhance grid stability and maximize the use of renewable power.

With a strong presence across solar, wind, and energy storage, the company has commissioned 5.2 GW of renewable capacity and secured 14 GW through long-term power purchase agreements. Avaada Electro, its manufacturing arm, is developing a fully integrated silicon-to-module solar production ecosystem. The company is also investing in a 6 GW wafer-to-cell facility in Nagpur and a 5 GW solar module plant.
