Indian Green & Battery Stocks Roundup – September 11

Battery and energy storage stocks in India witnessed mixed momentum on July 14, with major players like Eveready Industries India Ltd. and Tata Power gaining ground, while CLN Energy Ltd. and HBL Engineering Ltd. experienced notable corrections. Investor sentiment remained selective amid market volatility and ongoing sectoral rotation in Battery Stocks.

Eveready Industries India Ltd. led the day’s gainers with an impressive 4.81% jump to ₹382.3, supported by increased retail buying and optimistic outlook for its consumer battery segment. Tata Power also edged up 1.44% to ₹402.55, reflecting steady investor confidence in its renewable and grid storage initiatives. Amara Raja Energy followed with a 0.90% rise to ₹986.85, driven by expectations around EV battery expansion plans.

On the flip side, CLN Energy Ltd. took a sharp hit, falling 4.28% to ₹604.5, possibly due to profit booking after previous rallies. HBL Engineering Ltd. declined 1.87%, closing at ₹599.75, reflecting near-term consolidation pressure in high-valuation Battery Stocks.

Waaree Technologies also ended in red, slipping 1.17%, while Exide Industries, Panasonic Energy India, and High Energy Batteries posted marginal gains, suggesting mixed investor sentiment across the broader battery space. Indo-National Ltd. saw a slight uptick of 0.41%.

As India scales up its clean energy capacity and EV infrastructure, Battery Stocks remain a closely watched sector, driven by PLI incentives, supply chain developments, and corporate investment cycles.
