ChargeZone Appoints Pritesh Kumar as Business Development Director

Pritesh Kumar has joined ChargeZone as Director of Business Development. With almost 20 years of expertise in the automotive sector, Kumar will be in charge of spearheading the business’s strategic plans, growing its network of EV charging stations, improving customer service tactics, and cultivating alliances within the EV ecosystem.

In his new position, Kumar will focus on strengthening ChargeZone’s business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations, increasing network use through CRM and marketing initiatives, and expanding Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) offerings. Additionally, he will concentrate on enhancing the effectiveness of the infrastructure and expanding ChargeZone’s service accessibility nationwide.

ChargeZone’s founder and CEO, Kartikey Hariyani, commented on the appointment, saying that Pritesh Kumar’s experience and strategic vision will be crucial to the company’s plans to develop its EV infrastructure in India. Hariyani emphasized that one of the main components of ChargeZone’s strategies to satisfy the growing demand for EV charging solutions is Kumar’s demonstrated capacity to form alliances and promote network expansion.

Throughout his career, Pritesh Kumar has held executive positions in strategic marketing, institutional sales, business development, and channel expansion. He oversaw institutional sales at Mahindra & Mahindra and started projects to expand rural market channels, enhance product resale value, and target alternative business areas. In addition, he oversaw important government contracts, such as one with the Indian Army.

Kumar expressed excitement for his new position and said that ChargeZone’s emphasis on scalable and sustainable EV charging infrastructure fits with his career goals. In the EV industry, he hopes to use his knowledge to develop strategic partnerships, stimulate innovation, and improve customer experiences.
