ChargeZone Launches First EV Charging Hub in Gujarat

In Gujarat, ChargeZone launched its first charging center that uses Kempower technology. WGB Charging Sol Pvt. Ltd. installed the hub, which is run by ChargeZone and situated near Shreenath Food Hub along a major roadway. India’s e-mobility infrastructure is getting stronger thanks to this.

With two double-output and one single-output Kempower Satellite with CCS2 connectors, the hub has a 400 kW Kempower Power Unit charging system. The website is one of the first of its kind in India to serve a broad spectrum of EV consumers because it is made to accommodate both passenger vehicles and electric trucks.

Carlo Cecchi, Kempower’s Director of New Markets, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with ChargeZone, one of India’s top operators of charging stations. The establishment of first-rate fast-charging stations to ease intercity and interstate travel is a goal shared by both businesses. In order to foster confidence in the adoption of electric vehicles, we are dedicated to upholding high standards of uptime and reliability.”

With its ideal location halfway between Ahmedabad and Mumbai, the Shreenath Food Hub charging station provides EV drivers with easy access to charging stations while traveling. By distributing power dynamically among the five connectors, the Kempower DC charging system maximizes charging effectiveness and cuts down on wait times. More cars may be charged at once thanks to ChargeZone’s effective distribution of charging power made possible by the Kempower ChargEye cloud-based charging management system.

“Adding Kempower’s cutting-edge chargers to our supercharging network is a major advancement for India’s EV ecosystem,” said Kartikey Hariyani, founder and CEO of ChargeZone. “We are facilitating the transition to high-capacity chargers and improving the charging experience for EV drivers with Kempower’s technology and WBG’s engineering know-how. Our dedication to creating a dependable charging infrastructure for intercity and interstate travel is demonstrated by this partnership.”
