EKA Mobility has launched electric bus operations in Arunachal Pradesh on World Environment Day.

When Chief Minister Pema Khandu flagged off 10 electric buses to the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services on World Environment Day, EKA Mobility started its electric bus operations in Arunachal Pradesh. The electric buses were supplied to the state after a tender organized by Convergence Energy Services Limited. The electric buses have a 900mm floor height to help them perform well in Arunachal Pradesh and reach different parts of the city conveniently.

Special buses for the state were made by EKA Mobility, a top electric vehicle and technology firm, according to the region’s unique needs. The deployment is a major increase in electric public transportation in the northeastern part of India.

The launch places Arunachal Pradesh in the ranks of Indian states using electric vehicles to bring about national goals for sustainable transport. The date of World Environment Day pointed out the environmental gain from shifting from diesel buses to those that run on electricity.

“We are honored to contribute to Arunachal Pradesh’s vision for a greener future. Our vehicles are proudly designed and manufactured in India, reflecting our commitment to sustainable indigenous innovation tailored for diverse Indian geographies.”

    – Rohit Srivastava, business head and chief growth officer at EKA Mobility.

Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services will manage the electric buses, giving people in cities clean and emission-free rides on their routes. The cars come equipped with features that let people move around freely and allow for efficient operation.

EKA Mobility keeps bringing electric vehicles to many Indian states, supporting efforts by the government to cut transport emissions and enhance urban air quality. The business works on solving mobility problems by creating electric solutions that fit the geographic and work requirements of India.

With this deployment in Arunachal Pradesh, EKA Mobility supports its effort to help transport systems in many states by promoting electric vehicles.

Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Private Limited is the registered company name for EKA Mobility, which has investment partners Mitsui Co. Ltd. of Japan, VDL Groep of the Netherlands, and Pinnacle Industries of India. The company invents and builds electric technology for use in commercial vehicles so that many people can adopt it through simple and efficient ways of production.
