Enlight Metals Commences Manufacturing of Solar Structures; Unveils Initial Product Portfolio

Strengthening its focus on clean energy, Enlight Metals commenced the manufacturing of solar mounting structures through a contract manufacturing model. These are precision-engineered products, designed to support large-scale solar installations.

The company’s products are in line with India’s growing goals for renewable energy. They focus on providing high-quality, long-lasting structural components that are the building blocks of solar projects. As demand for infrastructure that lasts and works well grows, Enlight Metals wants to fill in important gaps in the performance and lifespan of mounting systems.

The company’s initial product portfolio includes roll-formed solar mounting structures such as C-channels, Z-sections, slotted angles, and structural pipes. Manufactured using advanced grades of Galvalume steel, including AZ150, AZ180, and AZ200, these structures offer enhanced corrosion resistance and are engineered to deliver consistent performance across diverse environmental conditions.

To ensure scalability and efficiency, Enlight Metals is leveraging a contract manufacturing model supported by a strong network of partners across key industrial hubs such as Pune, Raipur, and Faridabad. This approach enables faster turnaround time, optimized logistics, and improved cost efficiencies for clients across regions.

Built using solar-grade steel with yield strengths exceeding 550 MPa, the structures are designed for durability and long-term usage, supporting project lifecycles of over 25 years. The company is also integrating technology-led capabilities such as AI-driven demand forecasting and real-time supply chain optimization to enhance operational efficiency and reduce material wastage.

This change shows how Enlight Metals is continuing to grow as a value-added solutions provider by using its knowledge of sourcing, supply chain intelligence, and digital procurement to meet the needs of infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Commenting on the development, Vedant Goel, Director, Enlight Metals, said:

“India’s renewable energy growth is creating a strong need for reliable and high-performance solar infrastructure. At Enlight Metals, we are focused on manufacturing quality-driven mounting structures that enhance durability and long-term performance. Through our technology-led approach and focus on advanced materials, we aim to deliver solutions that create sustained value for developers and contribute to building a robust clean energy ecosystem.”

The company’s use of high-durability materials helps long-term ESG goals by reducing replacement cycles and improving overall lifecycle performance. This is because the materials are more environmentally friendly and make the business run more efficiently.

Enlight Metals plans to add more products to its line in the future, such as cable trays and pre-engineered building (PEB) components. This will make it even more of a one-stop shop for structural solutions for solar and infrastructure projects all over India.
