Enviro Infra Subsidiary Wins Rs 228 Cr Wind EPC Project In Maharashtra

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited’s subsidiary, Suyog Urja Limited, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Arie Energy LLP for a ₹228 crore wind power project in Maharashtra. The contract marks an expansion of the company’s order book following its entry into the wind energy sector earlier this year.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 100 MW wind power project at Ajani in Shirur Anantpal taluka, Latur district, Maharashtra. The project is scheduled for completion by July 31, 2027. Enviro entered the wind energy segment through its subsidiary, EIE Renewables, which acquired an initial 51% stake in Suyog Urja. The remaining 49% stake is planned to be acquired in phases over the next 27 months.

The latest contract follows an earlier Letter of Intent received by Suyog Urja from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited for a 180 MW EPC package linked to an NTPC wind power project at Parli in Maharashtra. The earlier contract includes work related to wind turbine generators, balance-of-plant infrastructure and a 33 kV transmission line.

Its scope includes civil foundation works for 58 wind turbine generators along with reinforcement steel and associated geotechnical work. Suyog Urja is also responsible for developing a fully equipped 39-acre secure storage yard and coordinating right-of-way requirements for transportation of project material.

The project additionally involves permanent and temporary roads, pathways and crane pads, along with construction and commissioning work associated with the 33 kV transmission infrastructure. The two orders strengthen Suyog Urja’s project pipeline in Maharashtra as Enviro Infra, traditionally focused on water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, expands into renewable energy EPC through the acquisition.

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited is an India-based infrastructure company specializing in the design, construction and development of Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Common Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). Established in 2009, the company focuses on delivering sustainable and innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions for industries and communities across India.

With a team of experienced professionals, Enviro Infra Engineers emphasizes engineering excellence, cost-effective project execution and environmentally responsible infrastructure development. The company aims to address diverse water management challenges through reliable treatment solutions while supporting water resource conservation, pollution control and environmental sustainability.
