GoodWe showed off its new ESA Series residential all-in-one energy storage system at a product launch event in Amsterdam. The solution is meant to help meet the growing need for energy independence among European homeowners and shows that the company is focused on smart and connected home energy systems.
The ESA Series is built around the “4S” concept- Silent, Smart, Secure, and Simple, combining low-noise operation, intelligent energy management, strong safety features, and simplified installation. The launch event brought together industry partners, installers, and energy experts to discuss how home storage solutions are becoming a key component of Europe’s evolving energy transition.
Energy Transition Entering a New Phase
During the event, Yingge Wang, Vice President at GoodWe, spoke about the ongoing transformation of the global energy sector.
He noted that the industry is moving into a new phase defined by greater electrification and digitalization of energy systems.
In his keynote address, Yingge Wang, Vice President at GoodWe said the transformation is driven by “Electrification of mobility and heating, rapid growth of energy storage, and the fusion of renewable energy and digital intelligence.”
He also highlighted the importance of integrated systems that connect generation, storage, grid and consumption.
According to Wang, “the next step in the energy transition lies in integrating generation, grid, storage, and consumption through intelligent energy management, enabling more customers to become energy prosumers.”
ESA Series Designed for Smart Home Energy
The ESA Series aims to deliver an efficient and easy-to-use energy storage solution for households.
The system can run at noise levels as low as 30 dB thanks to optimised cooling fans and a silent mode that the user can turn on. At the launch event, the product received the world’s first Grade A low-noise performance certification for energy storage systems from TÜV Rheinland.
Integrated with GoodWe’s intelligent energy management platform, the ESA system automatically adjusts charging and discharging based on solar generation, household energy use, and electricity price fluctuations.
The system also features a six-layer safety architecture from battery cell to system level and includes a full-backup capability, ensuring power supply for homes during grid outages.
In addition, the ESA Series uses a plug-and-play modular design, allowing installation in about 10 minutes.
Strategic Partnerships and Market Expansion
During the event, GoodWe also announced strategic cooperation agreements with energy ecosystem partners including:
- Beebop
- Frank Energie
- Tibber
These partnerships want to combine advanced storage solutions with virtual power plant (VPP) services to help households deal with changing electricity prices and join smart energy networks.
Industry Recognition
EUPD Research gave GoodWe the AA+ category certificate for Brand Leadership & Sustainability in Europe (2025–26) at the event.
Commenting on the company’s future plans, Wang said: “Looking forward, we’ll continue to listen to the market and drive innovation. We are committed to empowering more customers to become energy prosumers.”
The launch shows how smart residential energy storage systems are becoming more important for European homes that want to be more energy independent and help the electricity grid become more flexible and resilient.
