GREW Solar Wins 500 MW Solar Module Order from Leading Indian Developer

One of India’s solar PV module makers, GREW Solar, has gotten an order from a major power developer in the country to supply 500 MW of high-efficiency solar PV modules. The modules will be used in a number of new utility-scale solar projects at different sites across the country.

The order includes the company’s advanced M10R and G12R module series. These modules are designed to deliver strong performance, long-term reliability and high efficiency under different operating and climatic conditions.

Supply to Support Utility-Scale Solar Deployment

Under the agreement, GREW Solar will supply domestically manufactured modules from its M10R and G12R platforms. According to the company, these products are engineered to maximise energy output while maintaining stable and consistent performance across varied environments.

The development reflects the rising demand for high-efficiency, locally manufactured solar modules as developers accelerate project execution in line with India’s renewable energy expansion targets. Industry momentum toward domestic sourcing, supported by policy measures and supply chain localisation, is continuing to boost procurement from Indian manufacturers, the official statement noted.

Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director, GREW Solar, said, “This order marks an important milestone for GREW Solar and reflects the confidence that Leading Power Developers place in our manufacturing capabilities and product quality. Our M10R and G12R modules are engineered to deliver consistent performance and support efficient project execution. As India continues to expand its renewable energy capacity, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-efficiency modules that contribute to the country’s clean energy transition.”

GREW Solar, a venture of the Chiripal Group, operates a 6.5 GW PV module manufacturing facility in Dudu, Rajasthan, with plans to expand capacity to 11.0 GW. The company is also setting up an 8.0 GW solar PV cell manufacturing plant in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.

The company manufactures high-efficiency N-type TOPCon solar modules on M10R and G12R platforms for utility, commercial, industrial and rooftop applications. The latest order comes as GREW Solar continues to scale capacity, strengthen its product portfolio and invest in technology and quality manufacturing to meet growing market demand.
