Hitachi Energy Appoints Priyanka Bhagat as Head of Investor Relations

Hitachi Energy has announced the appointment of Priyanka Bhagat as its new Head of Investor Relations, reinforcing the company’s commitment to transparent communication, enhanced stakeholder engagement, and long-term value creation. The move comes as the company continues to strengthen its position in the global energy transition landscape.

In her new job, Bhagat will be in charge of the company’s investor relations strategy. This will include improving financial communication, disclosure practices, and investor confidence. She will work closely with important people to make sure that the company’s communication plans fit with its bigger goals for growth and sustainability.

Extensive Experience Across Investor Relations and Finance

Priyanka Bhagat brings significant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, and capital markets. Prior to joining Hitachi Energy, she served as Account Director – Investor Relations and IPO at Adfactors PR, where she played a key role in advising organizations on investor communications, IPO strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

She worked as Manager of Deals at PwC India earlier in her career, where she learned a lot about transaction advisory, financial strategy, and analysis that focuses on investors. This experience made her even better at dealing with complicated financial communications and working with the capital markets.

Decade-Long Tenure at RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group

Bhagat worked for the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group for a long time, where she was an Investor Relations Officer for more than ten years. She was a key player in increasing the group’s market capitalisation, creating strong frameworks for communicating with investors, and improving the processes for engaging analysts and making sure they followed the rules.

She also led ESG and sustainability efforts, which included adding green building practices and strategies that focused on sustainability to investor programs. Her work showed that she was very good at balancing financial performance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Driving Sustainable Growth and Investor Confidence

Priyanka Bhagat’s appointment aligns with Hitachi Energy’s broader strategy of fostering strong relationships with the investor community while driving sustainable business growth. With a solid academic background, including an MB A from IBS Hyderabad, she brings a well-rounded perspective on investor relations, ESG integration, and stakeholder communication.

Her leadership is expected to further strengthen Hitachi Energy’s investor engagement framework as the company continues to expand its role in enabling a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
