The India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) has announced the appointment of Reena Suri as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The appointment was unanimously approved by the Board of Governors (BoG) during its meeting held on 06 August 2026, recognising Suri’s outstanding contributions to ISGF, her commitment to the organisation’s growth, and her role in advancing groundbreaking technology demonstration projects that have gained global recognition.
In her new role as CEO, Suri will lead the India Smart Grid Forum’s efforts to drive innovation and strengthen collaboration across the smart energy ecosystem. She will focus on supporting the organisation’s continued growth while advancing initiatives aimed at accelerating the transition towards a smart, sustainable and future-ready energy sector.
Suri’s appointment comes as the India Smart Grid Forum continues to contribute to the development and adoption of smart grid technologies and solutions. Her leadership will further support the organisation’s efforts to bring together stakeholders, encourage technology-driven initiatives and promote collaboration across the energy sector.
The Board of Governors expressed confidence in Suri’s leadership and her ability to build on the India Smart Grid Forum’s existing progress. Her contributions to the organisation’s growth and technology demonstration projects were key considerations in the unanimous decision to appoint her as CEO.
As CEO, Suri will work closely with the India Smart Grid Forum’s stakeholders and partners to strengthen innovation, foster collaboration and support the development of technologies that can contribute to a more sustainable and future-ready energy landscape.
