Jakson Infra Secures ₹128.21 Crore Transmission Line Contract in Karnataka

Jakson Infra has secured a ₹128.21 crore contract from Resonia Limited for the supply and construction of the 400 kV Jagalur–Kadakola Double Circuit Transmission Line (Middle Section) in Karnataka, covering an approximately 90.07 km route length.

The project is part of a larger transmission scheme that includes the establishment of a 400 kV substation at Hampapura along with associated transmission lines in Mandya district. Resonia Limited was awarded the broader project by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.

Under the contract, Jakson Infra will undertake the engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing and commissioning of the designated section of the transmission line.

Once completed, the project is expected to strengthen Karnataka’s transmission capacity, enhance grid reliability and support the state’s increasing energy demand.

Commenting on the development, Jakson Infra spokesperson said, “We are pleased to partner with Resonia Limited on this important transmission project in Karnataka. This award reflects the confidence in Jakson Infra’s execution capabilities, and we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-quality infrastructure that supports India’s growing power needs.”

The order further strengthens Jakson Infra’s position as a trusted EPC partner in India’s power transmission sector and highlights its expanding role in developing resilient energy infrastructure.
