JSW MG Motor India has announced a strategic collaboration with leading real estate developer Confident Group and technology partner IONAGE Technologies to accelerate the growth of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure within residential communities across India. This initiative is part of the company’s MG Charge program, which aims to make EV ownership more convenient, accessible, and sustainable for urban dwellers.
MG Charge Initiative: Developing EV Infrastructure on a National Scale
JSW MG Motor has already fitted more than 800 EV chargers around India under the MG Charge initiative. This collaboration contributes to the goal of the company to install 1,000 chargers in 1,000 days that will provide universal access to residential EV charging stations in urban centers and busy destinations.

IONAGE Technologies is driving the user experience with a modern platform that enables residents to book charging slots, track charging sessions, and easily charge their cars at home. The technology has already been deployed in nine Confident Group properties in Kerala where the residents received a reliable and hassle-free home charging system.
