Kinetic Green has introduced the E-Luna Prime, a new electric moped aimed at India’s vast and growing commuter market. Priced at ₹82,490 (ex-showroom), the E-Luna Prime is positioned as an eco-friendly and budget-conscious alternative to conventional petrol-powered two-wheelers, making it an attractive option for both urban and rural users.
The E-Luna Prime comes in two variants, offering claimed ranges of 110 km and 140 km per charge, catering to varying commuting needs. Built for durability and comfort, it features rugged 16-inch alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, a powerful LED headlamp, and a spacious front-loading area, making it well-suited for daily travel and small cargo needs.
A major highlight is its low total cost of ownership, which Kinetic Green estimates at just ₹2,500 per month—including EMI and operating expenses. This is significantly lower than the approximately ₹7,500 per month it typically costs to own and operate a petrol motorcycle. The affordability factor, combined with its green credentials, makes the E-Luna Prime an ideal entry-level vehicle, especially for the nearly 75 crore Indians who have yet to own a two-wheeler.
To enhance accessibility and visibility
Kinetic Green is offering the E-Luna Prime in six vibrant color options. The vehicle is available through the company’s extensive network of over 300 dealerships across the country. This launch is in line with Kinetic Green’s broader mission to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in India, especially in segments where affordability, reliability, and ease of use are critical.
With the E-Luna Prime, Kinetic Green is not only reviving a nostalgic brand but also reinforcing its commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and practical mobility solutions for the masses.
