Kirankumar Perka has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer – Corporate Business (C&I) at Neutron Solar, effective April 2026. He will be based in New Delhi and will lead the company’s Corporate & Industrial (C&I) business vertical, focusing on driving strategic growth, strengthening client relationships, and expanding the Neutron Group’s footprint across India’s evolving energy landscape.

With over two decades of experience in the energy industry, Perka brings a diverse skill set that spans renewable energy, thermal power, power trading, and regulatory frameworks. His expertise includes regulatory strategy, sales and marketing, commercial operations, and complex negotiations.
He has a master’s degree in entrepreneurship and a Post Graduate Diploma in Electricity Regulations from the SP Jain Institute of Global Management. This gives him both technical and strategic knowledge of the energy sector.
Strong Track Record Across Leading Companies
Prior to joining Neutron Solar, Perka held leadership positions at Tata Power, Fourth Partner Energy, O2 Power, and JSW Energy Ltd. During his tenure, he led several high-impact initiatives, including corporate renewable contracting across captive, third-party, and merchant markets. His work also covered power trading, regulatory and policy advocacy, consulting and advisory services, and compliance mechanisms such as Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO) and Renewable Energy Certificates (REC).
Expertise in Renewable Energy Ecosystem
Perka’s core expertise includes open access frameworks, General Network Access (GNA), captive regulations, grid codes, financial modelling, and contract structuring. His strategic approach to business development has contributed significantly to accelerating corporate renewable energy adoption in India.
