Komaki Launches MG Pro Series Electric Scooters with LiFePO4 Battery Technology

Komaki, one of India’s leading electric vehicle brand, has announced the launch of its new MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters, bringing premium engineering to the mass market. Priced at INR 73,999 and INR 79,999 respectively, the new models stand out by offering an all-metal body, a feature rarely available in the electric two-wheeler segment at this price point.

Designed for riders who seek durability without stretching their budget, the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ combine robust construction with practical everyday performance. While most electric scooters in the segment rely on fibre body panels, Komaki has introduced a metal-bodied alternative that offers greater strength, enhanced longevity, and a reassuringly solid riding experience.

The MG Pro V delivers a range of 90-100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ extends the range to 150+ km, making both models suitable for daily commuting as well as longer city rides. Powered by a BLDC hub motor and advanced LiPo4 battery technology, the scooters are engineered to deliver reliable performance with low maintenance requirements.

Beyond their metal construction, both scooters come equipped with features that enhance convenience and safety, including mobile app connectivity for battery health and range monitoring, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist, repair switch, and a spacious riding platform. The MG Pro+ further offers a larger boot space, catering to the practical needs of everyday riders.

Speaking on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder, Komaki Electric Vehicles, said,”The electric two-wheeler market has grown rapidly, but affordability should never come at the cost of quality. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we wanted to offer customers features that have traditionally been associated with more expensive vehicles. These include a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries with a longer lifespan than those found in many electric two-wheelers and ICE vehicles currently available in the market. This combination inspires confidence among customers. It also reflects our commitment to making premium build quality, dependable performance, and modern technology accessible to a much wider audience. We believe customers deserve products that not only look good but are built to withstand everyday Indian road conditions.”

With the introduction of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki continues to strengthen its portfolio by offering products that combine durability, technology, and value. By making metal-body electric scooters accessible at highly competitive price points, the company is setting a new benchmark in the affordable EV segment while addressing the evolving expectations of Indian consumers.
