KPI Green Energy has appointed Kapil Kriplani as its Group Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), as the renewable energy company undergoes a transition in its financial leadership. The Board has also taken on record the resignation of current CFO Salim Yahoo, with his cessation date to be announced separately. The leadership change was disclosed alongside the company’s unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
The Board approved Kriplani’s appointment as Chief Financial Officer and KMP, with the designation of Group Chief Financial Officer, at its meeting held on 11 August.
The appointment followed recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Kriplani will lead the company’s finance function as part of the latest change in its senior management team.
As Group CFO, Kriplani assumes a key financial leadership role at the renewable energy company, with his appointment taking effect from 11 August.
Alongside Kriplani’s appointment, the Board took on record the resignation of Salim Yahoo from his position as Chief Financial Officer and KMP.
Yahoo will be relieved of his responsibilities in due course. KPI Green Energy has not yet disclosed the effective date of his cessation and stated that the date will be communicated separately.
The development marks a transition in the company’s top finance position, with Kriplani’s appointment already effective while Yahoo’s formal cessation date remains pending.
The CFO transition was announced as the Board reviewed the company’s financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.
During the same meeting, the directors approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. The financial disclosures were submitted alongside the decisions concerning the company’s senior finance leadership.
The Board also approved the appointment of MSKC & Associates LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the company’s statutory auditors for five consecutive years.
The proposed tenure will commence from the conclusion of the 18th Annual General Meeting and continue until the conclusion of the 23rd Annual General Meeting in 2031. The appointment remains subject to shareholder approval.
The decisions place the CFO transition alongside changes in the company’s financial oversight framework, with Kriplani assuming the Group CFO role from 11 August.
