Magenta Mobility Restructures Leadership to Drive Next Phase of EV Logistics Growth

Magenta Mobility, a leading integrated electric mobility and logistics solutions provider in India, has announced a significant leadership restructuring to strengthen its operations and support its next phase of growth in the electric vehicle (EV) logistics sector.

    Restructuring of strategic Leadership

Founder Maxson Lewis has also assumed the position of Founder and Chairman and his area of interest will be long term strategic initiatives. His other responsibilities are to establish technology relationships, policy advocacy, and global partnerships to reinforce Magenta in the EV ecosystem.

Sujit Cherian will become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this capacity, he will manage the day-to-day activities, lead in increasing the market, improving the operations, and forging new business alliances to boost business growth.

Commenting on the leadership change, Maxson Lewis stated, “With Sujit leading daily operations, I will focus on shaping Magenta’s roadmap and strengthening the EV logistics ecosystem in India and beyond.”

Fueling Sustainable Supply Chain in India

Nowadays, Magenta Mobility has more than 2,700 electric vehicles operating in 22 cities and has already provided over 600 lakh (60 million) clean kilometres of transportation with large logistics, e-commerce and mobility corporations.

This reorganization of leadership is one manifestation of the company aspirations to continue scaling its operations, to progress the use of technology, and to increase its clean logistics presence, in line with the national agenda to adopt sustainable and decarbonized freight transport.

    Future Roadmap

As clean mobility has increasingly been backed by the government, Magenta Mobility intends to:

    • Grow its EVs to additional cities.
    • Invest in current fleet optimization technologies.
    • Enhance relationship with logistics and e-commerce partners.
    • Emphasize on cost effectiveness and operational excellence.

This change of leadership is a big milestone in the Magenta vision of reinventing EV logistics and playing a significant role in ensuring the clean mobility future in India.
