MaxVolt Energy has added smart IoT-based Battery Management Systems to its lithium batteries. This new technology can make a big difference for electric vehicles like scooters and e-rickshaws. It helps improve battery safety, performance, and overall user experience. With this upgrade, MaxVolt Energy is taking its energy solutions to a more advanced and intelligent level.

The recently launched Smart BMS uses secure IoT technology and Bluetooth connectivity. Users can view real-time battery metrics with the help of dedicated mobile applications. This feature helps vehicle owners and fleet operators to track battery health and charging status. It also helps in tracking the temperature of the system and overall performance with ease. It adds more transparency and control to EV operations.

The key feature of this innovation is the partnership between MaxVolt Energy and IIT Roorkee. This partnership aims at developing AI-powered algorithms for the accurate estimation of State of Charge and State of Health. These advanced capabilities enable predictive diagnostics. This feature helps users anticipate potential issues before they arise. It also significantly reduces downtime and maintenance costs.

The smart BMS has a main focus on safety. It is equipped with multiple protection mechanisms that prevent overcharging, short circuits, and overheating. It is also designed to comply with AIS-156 standards. This ensures adherence to stringent safety regulations in India. This makes the batteries smarter and more reliable under different operating circumstances.

MaxVolt’s lithium battery packs are engineered for a wide range of applications. These batteries can be used in electric two-wheelers, cargo vehicles and solar street lighting systems. These batteries are specially designed for India’s extreme weather conditions with fast charging speeds, longer life cycles and optimised performance. It ensures uniform output in varying temperature ranges.

Speaking on the development, Vishal Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of MaxVolt Energy Industries Ltd, stated, “Our IoT-enabled Smart BMS marks a significant step forward in delivering intelligent and efficient energy solutions. We are giving users more control, safety, and reliability in their EV experience through real-time monitoring and AI-driven insights. MaxVolt is driven by the need to solve real-world problems, and our Smart BMS technology is designed to improve battery performance and build user confidence through transparency and safety. This is an important step toward making India’s electric mobility ecosystem smarter and more sustainable.

This launch will only strengthen MaxVolt Energy’s commitment towards innovation. It helps the brand in contributing to the growth and reliability of India’s clean energy and electric mobility landscape.”
