ORSL and SLPP Re-New Join Hands to Advance High-Efficiency CBG Projects in India

Organic Recycling Systems Ltd. (ORSL) and SLPP Re‑New LLP have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on developing advanced Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) projects across India.

The agreement brings together SLPP Re-New’s specialized membrane-based biogas purification technology with ORSL’s strength in project execution, technology integration, and operations and maintenance (O&M) for bioenergy facilities.

What the Partnership Will Do

The goal of the partnership is to create high-efficiency, scalable CBG projects that help India reach its clean energy goals. According to the MoU:

  • SLPP Re-New LLP will act as the preferred partner for membrane-based biogas purification systems.
  • ORSL will lead execution, technology integration, and lifecycle management of the CBG facilities.
  • Both companies will work together to jointly bid for government and private sector CBG projects.

This combined approach aims to deliver end-to-end CBG solutions  from efficient biogas upgrading to fully integrated facility operations supporting India’s transition from waste to fuel.

Leadership Comments

Pankaj Tanwar, CEO – Bioenergy, ORSL, said:

“We are delighted to partner with SLPP Re-New LLP to jointly explore and execute high-efficiency CBG projects across India. This collaboration strengthens ORSL’s commitment to providing advanced and reliable solutions in the clean energy sector.”

He added that bringing SLPP’s purification expertise together with ORSL’s project execution capabilities will “unlock new possibilities and help scale up CBG infrastructure nationwide.”

N.S. Mohan, Designated Partner, SLPP Re-New LLP, said:

“We are excited to partner with ORSL to expand the adoption of our membrane-based biogas purification solutions across India.”

He noted that working with ORSL will “help accelerate project deployment and improve the performance and sustainability of CBG plants.”

Why This Partnership Matters

This alliance supports India’s broader clean energy transition by:

  • Strengthening technological capabilities in the CBG value chain.
  • Enhancing the quality and scalability of biogas upgrading.
  • Supporting Government and private sector initiatives in waste-to-energy development.

The partnership’s goal is to help India reach its renewable energy and sustainability goals more quickly by combining their strengths in technology and execution.
