Powertrac Group, a leading Indian renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) and EPC player, has achieved a significant milestone in its long‑term growth roadmap by securing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) totaling 150 MW with Gujarat state DISCOM Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). These agreements are part of the 404 MWp capacity the Group has applied for under the Gujarat State Distributed Renewable Energy‑Based Power (DREBP) Scheme and the PM‑KUSUM‑A Scheme.
Aligned with Powertrac’s vision of achieving 1 GW (1000 MW) of operational IPP capacity by 2030, this development reinforces the company’s position as a fast‑growing renewable energy platform in India.
Powertrac, along with strategic investment partners Pruthvi Telecasts, Eiffil Group, Parv Group, and DD Group, has committed approximately ₹1,696 crore toward developing and commissioning these long‑term, PPA‑backed solar projects.
The signed PPAs carry a competitive tariff of ₹2.76 per unit for 25 years, providing long‑term revenue visibility, predictable cash flows, and strong project bankability key factors for banks, financial institutions, and infrastructure investors.
All projects comply with Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) norms and ALMM List‑II regulations, underscoring the Group’s adherence to regulatory frameworks, quality standards, and domestic manufacturing mandates.
Under the leadership of Managing Director Mr. Divyarajsinh Zala and CEO Mr. Dhruv Patel, Powertrac has also built a robust development pipeline of an additional 268 MW of distributed solar IPP projects. These projects are at advanced stages and expected to convert to PPAs shortly under the DREBP and PM‑KUSUM‑A frameworks, taking the Group’s near‑term cumulative PPA capacity to over 404 MW.
Powertrac Group expressed its sincere appreciation to PGVCL Managing Director Shri Ketan Joshi, Chief Engineer Shri K. B. Shah, and the entire PGVCL team for a transparent, developer‑friendly, single‑window approval framework that enabled efficient PPA execution.
With a strong PPA base, a credible growth pipeline, and committed capital, Powertrac continues strengthening its role in supporting India’s clean energy transition and Gujarat’s distributed renewable energy ambitions.
