Premier Energies Limited has secured solar cell and module orders totalling 1.6 GW (1,600 MW) in the fourth quarter of FY2026, with a combined value of approximately ₹2,577 crore. The orders are scheduled for execution across FY2027 and FY2028, reinforcing the company’s strong position in India’s solar manufacturing sector.
Order Details and Customer Base
The contracts have been awarded by a mix of leading domestic players, including Independent Power Producers (IPPs), module manufacturers, and EPC contractors. This diverse customer base highlights continued market confidence in Premier Energies’ integrated manufacturing capabilities.

The company said that some of the cell orders are subject to the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR), which is in line with India’s push for more local manufacturing.
Capacity Expansion and Manufacturing Strength
Premier Energies continues to scale its production capacity to meet rising demand. The company expects its solar cell manufacturing capacity to reach 10.6 GW by September 2026, while its module manufacturing capacity has already expanded to 11.1 GW.
