Pulse Energy Expands India Charging Network Partnerships

Pulse Energy has announced its partnership with ChargeZone and over 20 other charging networks across India. The partnership is aimed at offering a unified EV charging experience to EV users and fleets.

Fleet operators may now collaborate directly with Pulse Energy to have access to inexpensive and accessible charging alternatives across more than 20 charging networks, regardless of where they operate in India.

Individual EV customers may download any of Pulse Energy’s programmes to gain access to the whole network, such as the InstaCharge app, which allows them to start and stop over 2000 fast chargers. Pulse Energy is contributing to the development of a new open EV charging network on the backbones of ONDC known as the Unified Energy Interface.

The latest connection with ChargeZone expands Pulse Energy’s network by adding 400+ CCS2 chargers to all of the country’s major roads, making weekend travels more convenient for individual EV drivers.

Fleet drivers do not need to download an app or remember usernames or passwords. They simply plug in the vehicle and initiate the charging procedure using WhatsApp. This high daily use means that the Pulse Energy network is strong and dependable when compared to competing charger aggregators on the market.

Charge Point Operators using Pulse Energy’s technology have experienced a 20% increase in charger utilisation in less than four weeks. Pulse Energy assists CPOs in determining where to place chargers in a city and generating more traffic using the Unified Energy Interface, an open EV charging network.

Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO, MD of Tesco ChargeZone, said, “By joining forces with Pulse Energy and an extensive network of over 20 charging providers, we are reshaping the EV charging landscape in India. Our collaboration doesn’t just offer convenience; it represents a pivotal shift towards a unified and accessible charging infrastructure. With ChargeZone’s integration, we’re enhancing Pulse Energy’s network with hundreds of additional CCS2 chargers along major highways, ensuring seamless journeys for EV drivers. Together, we’re not just facilitating charging; we’re driving a paradigm shift towards sustainability and innovation in the EV ecosystem.”

Akhil Jayaprakash, Co-Founder at Pulse Energy, said, “We are demand aggregators from a CPOs point of view, and our SaaS platform for CPOs helps them partner with as many charger aggregators as possible helping them turn ROI positive. There isn’t going to be one single charging app that gives users access to every charging network, instead, it’s going to be ubiquitous like UPI, you can use Google Pay or a PhonePe app to pay for any charger – we are going to make that happen with UEI”
