Sunsure Energy has elevated Rajiv Kumar (PMP)® to the position of Assistant General Manager – Projects, recognizing his significant contributions to the company’s renewable energy project execution and operational excellence initiatives.
In his new role, Kumar will take on expanded responsibilities across project execution, strategic planning, and operational delivery, supporting Sunsure Energy’s growing portfolio of renewable energy projects across India. His elevation underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its project leadership capabilities as it continues to expand its presence in the clean energy sector.
Before this promotion, Kumar served as Senior Manager – Projects at Sunsure Energy, where he played a key role in overseeing project development, execution, and commissioning activities. Throughout his tenure, he has contributed to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
Kumar brings extensive experience in renewable energy, project management, solar infrastructure development, and electrical engineering. Before joining Sunsure Energy, he held positions at Cleantech Solar as Site Manager and at Schneider Electric and Shri Guru Electricals as Electrical Engineer. Over the years, he has developed expertise in solar project execution, electrical systems, commissioning, infrastructure development, and team leadership.
During his professional career, Kumar has been involved in managing multiple utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects, gaining valuable experience in project planning, stakeholder coordination, resource management, and on-site execution. His strong understanding of technical and operational aspects of renewable energy development has helped ensure timely project completion and efficient project performance.
His promotion comes at a time when Sunsure Energy is accelerating the deployment of renewable energy projects to meet the growing demand for clean power solutions. With his strong technical background and project management expertise, Kumar is expected to play a key role in driving project efficiency, execution excellence, and business growth.
