Refex Mobility Launches Delhi NCR Operations with 400 EVs to Drive Clean Urban Transport

Refex Mobility, the green mobility division of Refex Group, is proud to announce the launch of its operations in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). The inauguration event was graced by the presence of Union Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi along with other distinguished dignitaries.

As part of its expansion plan, Refex Mobility will deploy over 400 all-electric four-wheeler vehicles across Delhi NCR within the next three months, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and clean transportation solutions.

Currently, Refex Mobility operates a fleet of over 1,400 electric vehicles across cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, serving more than 70 corporate clients in sectors such as BFSI, IT/ITES, telecom, e‑commerce, and startups. The company employs over 200 staff and uses a tech‑enabled transport management platform. Since its inception, Refex Mobility claims to have reduced tailpipe CO₂ emissions by 35 lakh kilograms. The company also intends to expand further into Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 cities across India.

Speaking at the launch, Union Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi said “Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India is advancing rapidly towards clean energy and sustainable mobility. To truly unlock the promise of electric vehicles and smart energy-efficient transportation, we must ensure they are powered by the sun. I urge corporates to lead the way by adopting solar-based charging for their EV fleets, thereby reducing oil imports, cutting emissions, and building greener, healthier cities in line with their ESG commitment.”

Shri Anil Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Refex Group, stated “Delhi NCR is not just an expansion for us but it is a commitment to scale. Within a couple of quarters, we will create one of the largest corporate clean-mobility fleets in the region. At Refex, we believe in diversification with responsibility, and Green Mobility is one of the most critical pillars of our sustainability journey.”

Shri Anirudh Arun, CEO of Refex Mobility, said “At Refex Mobility, we are reimagining what reliable and responsible mobility means for India. Our promise is built on three pillars-dependable fleets that corporates can count on, exceptional experiences for every rider, and a deep commitment to sustainability and our driver partners. With our entry into Delhi NCR, we are proud to bring this ethos to the capital, as we continue shaping a cleaner and more trusted future for urban mobility.”

The business interests of Refex Group are in renewable energy, coal and ash handling, medical technologies, pharmaceuticals, airport operations, and green mobility. It has two publicly traded companies, which are Refex Industries Limited and Refex Renewables Infrastructure Limited.
