The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has successfully concluded the e-reverse auction for 2,000 MW of ISTS-connected (Inter-State Transmission System) wind power projects under Tranche XX. The auction, held on July 15, 2026, discovered tariffs ranging from Rs 3.78 per kWh to Rs 4.32 per kWh.
Gentari Renewables India Castor One Private Limited emerged as the lowest bidder, securing capacity at a discovered tariff of Rs 3.78 per kWh. However, the majority of the awarded capacity was discovered at a tariff of Rs 3.85 per kWh.
Successful Bidders
A total of 12 bidders secured capacity at the Rs 3.85 per kWh tariff level, with allocations ranging between 50 MW and 200 MW.

Other bids received during the auction included ABREL SPV 2 at Rs 3.90 per kWh, Bhojraj Developers at Rs 4.18 per kWh, and Waaree Forever Energies at Rs 4.32 per kWh.
The successful developers will sign Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SECI under the tariff-based competitive bidding framework.
Following the conclusion of the auction, NTPC Green Energy Limited announced that Ayana Renewable Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited—a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC Green Energy and ONGC Green—had secured 50 MW under the tender.
Powerica Limited also confirmed that it had been awarded 100 MW in the auction and stated that it expects to receive the Letter of Award (LoA) in line with the timelines specified in the tender documents.
The auction represents another round of capacity allocation under SECI’s ISTS-connected wind procurement programme, which continues to attract participation from established renewable energy developers as demand for utility-scale wind projects continues to grow.
