Serentica Appoints Annapurna J as Chief Human Resources Officer

Serentica Appoints Annapurna J as Chief Human Resources Officer

Serentica Renewables, a leading renewable energy provider in India, has announced the appointment of Annapurna J as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, she will report to the group CHRO and will be based out of the company’s Mumbai office.

Annapurna brings with her over 24 years of experience across listed companies, conglomerates and high growth businesses. She has built a distinguished career leading people strategy, organisational transformation, talent management, and culture integration across diverse sectors. Her expertise spans M&A integration, EVP design, digital talent architectures, succession planning, and enterprise wide transformation.

Prior to joining Serentica, Annapurna served as Group Head – Talent Management at Mahindra & Mahindra, where she played a key role in strengthening succession governance, integrating leadership pipelines, and advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Earlier, at Vodafone Idea Ltd., she helped build digital HR infrastructure, led EVP redesign, and supported post‑merger cultural integration work that later featured as a Harvard Business School case study.

Commenting on the appointment, Ruhie Pande, Group CHRO & CMO, Serentica, Resonia & Sterlite Electric, said, “We are delighted to welcome Annapurna to Serentica. Annapurna holds a PGDM from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, and a B. Com (Hons) from the University of Calcutta.
