Shailendra Mani Tripathi

Shailendra Mani Tripathi has been elevated to the position of Assistant Vice President at Reliance Power Limited, marking a significant milestone in his nearly two-decade-long career in the power generation and energy sector.

In his new role, Tripathi will continue to lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, plant performance enhancement, and strategic growth. His elevation reflects Reliance Power’s recognition of his long-standing contributions, technical expertise, and leadership across critical power generation operations.

Tripathi has built an impressive career trajectory within Reliance Power, steadily advancing through several key leadership positions, including Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, and General Manager, before being promoted to Assistant Vice President. During his tenure, he has played a vital role in energy management, plant operations, power generation, and performance optimization programs that have supported the company’s operational efficiency objectives.

Before joining Reliance Power, Tripathi gained valuable industry experience at Lanco Anpara Power Limited, where he was involved in the commissioning and operation of a 2×600 MW thermal power project. He also worked with Jindal Steel & Power Limited, where he developed a strong foundation in thermal power plant operations and maintenance.

Over the years, his expertise in plant management, energy efficiency, and operational strategy has contributed significantly to improving performance standards and supporting reliable power generation. His ability to lead complex operations and deliver consistent results has earned him recognition within the organization and the broader power sector.

The elevation comes at a time when the power industry is increasingly focused on operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainable growth. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of power plant operations, Tripathi is expected to play an important role in supporting Reliance Power’s future business and operational goals.

His appointment further strengthens the company’s leadership team as it continues to focus on enhancing performance, driving innovation, and delivering long-term value in India’s evolving energy landscape.
