M. Shakeel Chouhan has been elevated to the position of Vice President – Projects at Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL), where he will also take charge as Project Head – Khavda.
Chouhan brings extensive experience across large-scale infrastructure, renewable energy, hydropower, tunnelling, and complex project execution. Over the course of his career, he has developed a strong track record of delivering major projects in challenging and technically demanding environments.
In his new role, Chouhan will lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of large-scale renewable energy assets at Khavda. His responsibilities will also include driving a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and sustainable infrastructure development.
Commenting on his new responsibility, Chouhan said, “When the scale of the vision is extraordinary, execution must be even stronger.”
His appointment comes as large-scale renewable energy projects increasingly require strong execution capabilities, technical expertise, and rigorous safety standards. At Khavda, his leadership is expected to support the timely development and commissioning of renewable energy infrastructure while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and safety.
