Sunshare, a technology innovator specializing in plug-in solar energy storage solutions, has officially launched the European pre-sale of its new Glory 4.02 kWh Plug-in Energy Storage System. The company said the product has been developed to support households seeking greater energy independence amid changing electricity prices and increasing demand for flexible home energy solutions.
The Glory series is designed with a modular and expandable architecture, allowing homeowners to adjust storage capacity according to their current and future energy needs. The system is available in 1.52 kWh, 2.03 kWh, and 4.02 kWh battery modules, with mixed stacking support that enables users to expand total capacity up to 16.12 kWh.
Unlike traditional home battery systems that often require high upfront investment and fixed capacity, the Glory system provides a step-by-step upgrade approach. Users can start with a smaller storage setup and add additional modules as their household energy consumption increases, offering a more flexible and cost-effective energy management solution.
A key feature of the Glory 4.02 kWh system is Sunshare’s Dual-Level Active Balancing technology. The technology works at both the individual cell level inside the battery pack and across multiple stacked modules. By improving energy distribution and reducing balancing losses, the system aims to increase battery efficiency, improve consistency, and maximize usable stored energy.
The system is also built for long-term performance with Sunshare’s eXtraSolid™ technology, which supports up to 10,000 charging cycles. This extended cycle life is designed to provide reliable operation and support predictable returns for residential users over many years.
The Glory series also incorporates a low-voltage, high-current charging design combined with an intelligent charging algorithm. This approach helps optimize charging performance, reduce physical and chemical stress on battery cells, and improve thermal management and overall system stability.
