Sunsure Energy appointed Sunil Kharb as General Manager – Corporate Affairs

Sunsure Energy, One of India’s Leading renewable energy solutions provider for leading businesses and utilities transitioning to green power has recently announced that it has appointed Sunil Kharb as General Manager – Corporate Affairs, marking a key addition to its leadership team as the company strengthens its organisational capabilities for the next phase of growth. The strategic move comes as the company accelerates its organizational strengthening to support its next phase of rapid expansion in the C&I (Commercial & Industrial) renewable energy sector.

Prior to joining Sunsure, Sunil has gathered Industry experience from Waaree Renewables Technologies, KEC International, Rays Power Experts, Akshayani Odisha Private Limited, and Oorja Environment Private Limited. His background spans renewable energy, infrastructure, and communications-led roles, with exposure to both project-driven and corporate functions.

An alumnus of Kurukshetra University with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Sunil has built a career grounded in cross-functional execution and stakeholder engagement. At Sunsure, he will support the Corporate Affairs function, contributing to the company’s continued expansion and institutional strengthening.

Sunsure is a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP), which enables corporations across India to embrace clean energy with ease and confidence through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) that offset up to 100% of their power use with round-the-clock clean energy (RE-RTC) from solar, wind, and battery storage solutions.

The company is backed by Partners Group AG with an equity commitment of $400 million towards its vision of building the largest industrial decarbonisation company in India and Southeast Asia. With Distinct projects spanning over Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Karnataka with 700 MW operational assets, 7.10 GW under various stages of development and with a goal of achieving 10 GW by 2030, It is committed to Make India’s Power Move.
