With the goal of becoming a smart energy grid solutions provider, U Power Limited, a provider of complete EV battery-swapping solutions, announced today that it has won the Beyond Impact Award at the 5th BEYOND International Technology Innovation Expo (the “BEYOND Expo”), which took place in Macau from May 21–24, 2025.
With the theme “Empowering Asia, Bridging the World,” the BEYOND Expo is Asia’s largest meeting of innovative technology firms, leading tech professionals, and trailblazing minds. This year, approximately 800 businesses from a variety of industries, including AI, HealthTech, Clean Energy, Robotics, Lifestyle Tech, SportsTech, FinTech, and more, participated in the show.
The Beyond Impact Award, which U Power got for its sophisticated battery-swapping network, honors businesses that significantly improve technology, the economy, society, and the environment in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. This honor is a component of the larger BEYOND Awards, which recognize inventions that have a beneficial influence on society and bring about significant change.

Following the successful commencement of the commercial operation of our battery-swapping solutions in mainland China and Thailand, we are on track to debuting our first battery-swapping station in Hong Kong in June 2025, which will also mark Hong Kong’s first full-service taxi-focused battery-swapping station. We have a two-fold strategy; while we continue to expand our geographic footprint into more regional markets via joint ventures, we are also investing in developing comprehensive solutions for manufactures and drivers of EVs, aiming to transform EVs into dynamic assets for smart energy grids.”
