Vamsidhar Gunukula Appointed as Head – EPC at Axis Energy Group

Vamsidhar Gunukula has been named Head of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) at Axis Energy Group. In this position, he will be in charge of engineering, procurement, and construction operations, with a focus on completing large energy projects with high efficiency and quality. Gunukula’s knowledge of gearbox EPC, supply chain optimisation, and strategic growth is expected to improve the company’s infrastructure and make it easier to deliver projects on time.

Extensive Industry Experience

Gunukula brings a wealth of experience from senior leadership roles across India’s energy and infrastructure sector. His career highlights include:

  • Leadership roles at Sterlite Electric and Tata Projects, where he managed strategy, growth, and large transmission EPC portfolios
  • Head of supply chain operations at Progress Rail, optimising procurement and logistics
  • Earlier experience at VENSAR Constructions Company Limited, building project management and cross-functional execution expertise across complex infrastructure projects
