Waaree Renewable Receives Major 300 MW/450 MWp Solar Project from SPPL

Waaree Energies Limited (WEL) has announced that its subsidiary Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has received an important Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a ground-mounted solar power project of 300 MW/450 MWp capacity from Sunsational Power Private Limited (SPPL).

Under the contract, Waaree Renewable Technologies will be responsible for the complete EPC execution of the solar project, along with two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services. The project is scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2026-27.

The order further strengthens WRTL’s position as a leading player in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector. With an aggregate project size of 300 MW/450 MWp, the development is expected to contribute significantly to the country’s clean energy capacity and support the ongoing transition towards sustainable power generation.

According to the company’s disclosure, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and is classified as a commercial order. The project will be executed within India and aligns with the nation’s broader renewable energy ambitions.

The company also disclosed that Sunsational Power Private Limited is a subsidiary of Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, making the transaction a related-party arrangement. However, the order has been awarded in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and disclosures under SEBI regulations.

The latest order reflects Waaree Renewable Technologies’ growing project pipeline and its continued focus on delivering large-scale solar infrastructure solutions across the country. As demand for clean energy accelerates, the company remains committed to supporting India’s renewable energy targets through efficient project execution and advanced solar technologies.

With this addition, WRTL further reinforces its role in driving the expansion of solar energy infrastructure and contributing to a greener and more sustainable energy future.
