Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd Secures EPC Contract for 420 MWp Solar Project

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has secured a major contract to carry out engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for a 300 MW AC (420 MWp) ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project. The order has been awarded by a domestic renewable power generation company, although the client’s name has not been disclosed.

The company stated that the solar project is scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2027–28, adding another large-scale project to its growing EPC portfolio in India’s renewable energy sector.

Large-Scale Solar Project Development

Waaree Renewable Technologies will be in charge of the entire EPC execution of the project, as stated in the contract. This includes planning the project, getting the tools, building the solar PV plant on the ground, putting it together, and putting it to use.

The project will have a capacity of 300 MW AC, which is the same as 420 MWp. This is the total installed capacity of the solar modules that will be used in the plant. When it is up and running, the facility is expected to make a big difference in generating clean power and help India move toward renewable energy.

Strong Financial Performance

The company has also said that its finances have grown a lot this year. Waaree Renewable Technologies made INR 2,229.03 crore in sales over the nine months that ended on December 31, FY2026. This is already more than the company’s total sales for the entire fiscal year 2025.

This represents a year-on-year growth of 98.81%, compared to INR 1,121.17 crore recorded during the same nine-month period in FY2025.

Significant Rise in Profit

The profit after tax (PAT) also got a lot better. The company said that its PAT for the nine months that ended in December 2025 was INR 322.93 crore. This is a rise of 138.92% from the same time last year, when INR 135.16 crore was reported.

Strong EPC Order Pipeline

As of December 31, 2025, the company’s unexecuted EPC order book stood at 2.92 GWp. These projects are expected to be executed over the next 12 to 15 months, indicating a strong project pipeline and sustained demand for EPC services in India’s solar energy market.

Waaree Renewable Technologies is getting stronger in the utility-scale solar EPC market with this new project win and a growing order book. This helps the country build more renewable energy infrastructure.
