WattPower Partners with Avaada to Deliver 715 MW of Clean Energy in Maharashtra

WattPower, a recognized global leader in renewable energy solutions, has announced a major partnership with Avaada, a pioneering independent power producer (IPP), to deliver 715 MW of renewable energy. This strategic alliance aims to accelerate collective progress and play a pivotal role in strengthening Maharashtra’s clean energy ecosystem.

WattPower has already made significant strides in Maharashtra, successfully delivering 452 MWp under the state’s flagship MSKVY (Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana) initiative. Building on this momentum, the company is now expanding its portfolio with an additional 715 MW, further reinforcing its commitment to supporting Maharashtra’s clean energy transition. As part of the latest agreement, the company is set to put into operation 275 kw string inverters at various sites in the state, further solidifying its role in transforming Maharashtra into a hub for sustainable energy.

A standout feature of this partnership is the integration of WattPower’s cutting-edge inverters, which utilize Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation technology. which has significantly enhanced the performance and reliability of Avaada’s MSKVY sites. This breakthrough ensures grid stability, optimizes energy efficiency, and maximizes output, enabling Avaada to meet Maharashtra’s growing renewable energy demands

“We are glad to secure this contract, as it marks a pivotal milestone for WattPower and a significant leap forward in India’s clean energy journey. By combining our advanced technologies with Avaada’s leadership in renewable energy, we aim to set new benchmarks in efficiency and sustainability. This partnership exemplifies how strategic collaborations can drive transformative change, creating long-term value for stakeholders and a greener future for generations to come,” said Divya Prakash Choraria, CEO & Co-Founder of WattPower.

The partnership between WattPower and Avaada is built on a strong foundation of successful collaboration and a shared vision for India’s renewable energy transformation. This new contract marks another significant milestone in advancing a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for the country.

As WattPower continues to expand its footprint in the energy sector, this milestone underscores its position as a key contributor to India’s sustainable energy transition
