Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVNL) has released a RfS to procure four standalone BESS, each of 2.5 MW / 5 MWh capacity

Alpex Solar is planning to establish a solar module manufacturing facility of 1.2 GW in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, taking its capacity to 3.6 GW.

It has a Rs 110-crore project, which will be implemented through internal accruals and credit facilities, and is likely to be operational until FY27. This new growth will be after a strong Q1/FY26 performance.

Also, the company is increasing Rs 261.16 crore in a preferential allotment, which is subject to shareholder approval. Alpex Solar has managed to win Rs 1,555.03 crore orders in FY26, including orders of MSEDCL, SECI, HAREDA, CMPDIL, and three key manufacturers. It has six units in Greater Noida, Kosi-Kotwan, Eco-Tech, and Madhya Pradesh.

“Our Q1 results reflect the strength of our business model and the growing demand for sustainable energy,” said Mr. Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director, Alpex Solar Ltd. “With strong execution capabilities, a robust order book, and favorable policy tailwinds, we are confident in sustaining growth and becoming a leading solar module and cell manufacturer.”

Recently, the solar PV manufacturing capacity in India hit 100 GW, making Atmanirbhar Bharat and clean energy transition an important part of its activity.
