Danfoss Power Solutions has appointed Anup Deshmukh as Managing Director of its India business, where he will lead the Power Solutions India Leadership Team and oversee business activities across the country. Based in Pune, Deshmukh will focus on business growth, strategic execution, customer partnerships and organisational development in his new role.
Deshmukh brings nearly three decades of experience spanning sales, business development, general management, manufacturing and strategic growth. His appointment comes as Danfoss Power Solutions continues to strengthen its business operations and customer relationships in the Indian market.
Before joining Danfoss Power Solutions, Deshmukh served as Country Sales Director at Parker Hannifin India. During his tenure, he held leadership responsibilities in India as well as across China and Southeast Asia, gaining experience in regional business management and customer engagement.
Earlier in his career, Deshmukh worked as Sales Manager at GE Water & Process Technologies and as Territory Manager at Thermax. These roles provided him with experience across industrial markets, sales management and business development.
At Danfoss Power Solutions, Deshmukh will be responsible for leading the India leadership team and managing the segment’s activities across the country. His mandate includes driving business growth, strengthening strategic execution and developing customer partnerships, while also supporting organisational development.
The appointment brings an experienced industry executive into a leadership position covering Danfoss Power Solutions’ India operations. With his background across multiple industrial sectors and geographic markets, Deshmukh will contribute to the company’s business and strategic priorities in the country.
Based in Pune, Deshmukh will work with the India leadership team and other stakeholders to advance Danfoss Power Solutions’ business activities and customer engagement across the Indian market.
