Apple collaborate with CleanMax, India’s largest renewable energy solutions provider expanding its renewable energy investments in India.
Apple will initially invest INR 100 crore to support the development of more than 150 MW of new renewable energy capacity — enough to power around 150,000 annually — with the potential for further expansion in the coming years. The partnership is aimed at scaling renewable energy consumption across Apple’s supply chain in India.
Apple recently work with cleanmax on a portfolio of rooftop solar projects o help power Apple’s offices and retail stores with 100 percent renewable energy in India.
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Apple yet again. At CleanMax, we see ourselves as a long-term net-zero partner to corporates, and we are proud to continue working with a company like Apple that continues to push the ecosystem to think bigger, move faster, and build more responsibly,” said Kuldeep Jain, managing director and founder, CleanMax.
