Ashoka Buildcon Limited has acquired a 100% equity stake in Sakoli Power Transmission Limited, a project special purpose vehicle (SPV), according to a regulatory disclosure filed by the company.
The company informed the stock exchanges that it has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the acquisition of the entire equity shareholding in Sakoli Power Transmission Limited. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Sakoli Power Transmission Limited has been established as a project-specific special purpose vehicle for the development of a power transmission project. Through the acquisition, Ashoka Buildcon has taken complete ownership of the SPV, adding a power transmission asset to its infrastructure portfolio.
The company said the acquisition follows its earlier communication dated August 13, 2026. The latest filing confirms that the SPA has now been executed and the 100% equity stake in Sakoli Power Transmission Limited has been acquired.
The transaction is part of Ashoka Buildcon’s activities across infrastructure development, with the company having interests in areas including roads, highways and other infrastructure segments. The acquisition of the transmission SPV expands its involvement into the power transmission infrastructure segment.
The disclosure was submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on September 23, 2026. Ashoka Buildcon stated that the details required under SEBI’s Master Circular dated January 30, 2026, have been provided in the accompanying annexure.
The acquisition gives Ashoka Buildcon full ownership of Sakoli Power Transmission Limited and enables the company to undertake the project through the acquired SPV structure. Further project-specific details are contained in the annexure to the regulatory filing.
