As one of India’s leading defence public sector enterprises, BEL has been actively developing indigenous technologies across communication systems, radar, electronic warfare, and other mission-critical defence solutions.
In her new leadership position, Kathuria will be responsible for steering the SCCS business, strengthening operational efficiencies at the Ghaziabad Complex, and ensuring the timely execution of strategic defence programmes. She is also expected to focus on enhancing innovation, improving project delivery, and supporting the development of next-generation communication technologies for the armed forces.
Her appointment reflects BEL’s continued emphasis on experienced leadership to drive growth in advanced defence electronics. With her deep technical expertise and decades of institutional knowledge, BEL Rashmi Kathuria is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s Strategic Communication & Communication Systems (SCCS) business, enhancing innovation, and reinforcing Bharat Electronics Limited’s position as a key contributor to India’s self-reliance in defence technology.
