BluPine Energy has successfully secured a 150 MW capacity in SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 GW (6 GWh) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction—an important initiative designed to deliver reliable, peak-hour renewable energy paired with storage solutions.
The capacity was awarded to BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., at a competitive tariff of ₹6.75/kWh.
Commenting on the achievement, Neerav Nanavaty, CEO of BluPine Energy, said, “This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio. As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability. Our focus remains on deploying proven technologies, robust storage integration, and operational excellence to deliver on our commitments.”
The awarded project will deliver firm green energy during high-demand peak periods (midnight to 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to midnight daily), supporting grid reliability and helping utilities meet peak load with sustainable energy. The 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) provides long-term revenue certainty and adds strength to BluPine Energy’s expanding national presence.
This development also propels BluPine Energy toward its target of establishing a 4+ GW portfolio comprising solar, wind, and hybrid projects by FY2027. With a robust pipeline of solar-wind-storage projects, the company continues to reinforce its role in India’s clean energy shift by delivering reliable, dispatchable renewable power for both utilities and industrial consumers.
