Brookfield is set to invest up to $600 million in ACME Cleantech Ventures to support the development and construction of ACME Group’s growing portfolio of green molecule projects across India and the Middle East.
The investment marks Brookfield’s entry into the region’s green molecules sector and brings together its global investment scale and institutional capital with ACME’s project development and operating capabilities.
ACME Group Chairman Manoj Upadhyay said the investment reflects confidence in the company’s development capabilities and the growth potential of the green molecules market.
The company is developing green ammonia and other green molecule projects aimed at supporting cost-competitive decarbonization while establishing a global platform to serve customers across Asia, Europe and other markets.
ACME Cleantech Ventures is a UK-based, privately held green molecules platform and subsidiary of India’s ACME Group focused on developing and constructing green hydrogen derivatives, including green ammonia and green methanol
