KP Group and Delta Electronics India have signed strategic MOUs to jointly develop clean energy solutions in India and abroad.

KP Group of Surat, in a statement dated Friday, mentioned that it has signed three strategic initial agreements with Delta Electronics India, which is a provider of solutions in energy and power management. The association of efforts is seen in three areas of high impact, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen and EV charging infrastructure, and Solar PV Inverters, according to a statement.

Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India, and Faruk Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, signed the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), marking a major milestone as they began co-developing future-ready energy infrastructure to support India’s clean energy vision.

Delta Electronics India and KP Group already have existed on good terms over a long period. The leaders strengthened this partnership by signing the MoUs, which provide a structured approach to accelerating the scale-up of renewable energy and clean technology implementation, the statement continued.

The MoU on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) provides an elaborate plan to design and implement scalable BESS projects.

Here, KP Group will assist in the development of the projects, site integration and regulatory coordination with the help to speed up the implementation of BESS solutions, whereas Delta will provide necessary power electronics, such as inverters and energy management systems with design, integration and commissioning assistance, it said.

The partnership will enable the two companies to provide energy storage projects in India as well as other markets abroad.

The KP Group will be the leader in establishing green hydrogen production plants operating on renewable sources as a part of the agreement based on an integrated green refueling and EV charging grid system.

Key devices: Delta will bring integrated energy management systems, EV charging hardware and software, hydrogen compression and dispensing hardware, and energy management systems.

The two will collaborate in designing and developing green hydrogen stations and EV charging hubs in India.

In an agreement with solar PV inverter, Delta will deliver about 1 GW of next-generation grid-connected solar inverter product to KP Group in the coming 12 months to support its planned solar projects in India and some of its overseas markets as well. They are future-proof, as they support both solar-only and hybrid (solar plus storage).

“This collaboration is a strong testament to the trust and shared values between Delta and KP Group.”

    – Niranjan Nayak, MD of Delta Electronics India.

“Our partnership is not just about products—it’s about co-creating solutions that empower India’s energy independence. Whether it is solar, storage, or hydrogen, we believe our combined strengths can build a cleaner, more sustainable tomorrow.”

    – Faruk Patel, CMD of KP Group.

KP Group brings to the table integrated expertise across project development, power generation, infrastructure execution, and renewable manufacturing, while Delta brings global experience in high-efficiency power electronics, hydrogen-ready infrastructure, and intelligent controls.
