Eapro Global Limited, a manufacturer of solar and power-backup solutions, has raised ₹40 crore in a funding round from a mix of institutional investors, family offices and individual investors. The capital raise comes as the company prepares for its proposed initial public offering (IPO) in FY28.
The funding round attracted participation from Aarth AIF Growth Fund, NAV Bharat Investment Opportunities Fund, VentureX Fund, Kyro India Opportunities Fund – I, and Juggilal Kamlapat Lakshmipat (JK) Family Office, among other investors.
The fresh capital is expected to support Eapro Global’s ongoing business and growth plans as it expands its presence in the solar and power-backup solutions market. The proposed FY28 IPO would mark a further step in the company’s planned growth and capital-market strategy.
As Eapro’s transaction advisor for the fundraising, Kyro Capital Private Limited oversaw all aspects of the deal, including investor identification, structuring, and completion. Additionally, Kyro India Opportunities Fund-I, a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund run by Kyro Asset Management Private Limited, made its maiden investment with this transaction.
According to Eapro, the additional funding will be utilized to assist the company’s next stage of growth, which will involve increasing manufacturing capacity, bolstering technological skills, and extending its reach throughout India’s markets for power backup and renewable energy.
All of the company’s major financial measures have shown growth. In FY25, its revenue was ₹199.61 crore; in FY26, it was ₹346.39 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) climbed from ₹18.58 crore to ₹30.54 crore during the same time, while EBITDA increased from ₹26.73 crore to ₹44.30 crore.
Demand for Eapro’s solar inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions has fueled the company’s expansion, according to Eapro, which has also continued to invest in technology, product development, and manufacturing capacity.
Additionally, the business is getting ready for a planned FY28 Initial Public Offering (IPO). In order to get ready for the planned public offering, Eapro is now in talks with potential lead managers and investors.
Commenting on the fundraise, Jagdeep Chauhan, Managing Director, Eapro Global Limited, said the capital will strengthen the company’s balance sheet and enable it to scale manufacturing capacity, deepen technology capabilities and address the growing demand for energy storage and power-backup solutions.
Aman Maheshwari, Founder and Fund Manager, Kyro India Opportunities Fund – I, said the fund sees structural growth opportunities in energy storage systems and power-backup solutions, driven by India’s renewable energy transition and demand for reliable power infrastructure. He added that the transaction represents the fund’s first investment.
