Enerparc Unveils 35 MWp Solar IPP project in Gujarat

Enerparc Energy, a globally recognized leader in solar power solutions, has announced the launch of its 35 megawatt-peak (MWp) Independent Power Producer (IPP) solar project in Gujarat. This project is strategically designed to meet the growing demand for clean, reliable, and cost-effective energy from Commercial and Industrial (C&I) consumers across various sectors. The solar plant is scheduled to begin supplying power by August 2025 and is expected to generate approximately 58 million units of clean electricity annually. This will contribute to an estimated reduction of 41,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year, supporting India’s climate goals and sustainability targets.

The project has already attracted interest from a number of prominent industrial clients, including companies operating in the recycling, automotive, packaging, plastics, and international mining sectors. Their early participation reflects a rising trend among businesses to transition towards environmentally friendly and economically viable energy alternatives. Designed specifically for energy-intensive sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, the project provides a strong value proposition. Clients will benefit from fixed and predictable power tariffs, shielding them from the volatility of grid electricity prices.

The solar plant also offers long-term cost stability and zero maintenance obligations for the consumer. Additionally, it enables measurable reductions in Scope 2 emissions, with full compliance to regulatory requirements. With a proven global track record of installing over 4.7 gigawatts (GW) of solar capacity, Enerparc Energy brings a wealth of experience and operational excellence to the project. The Gujarat solar plant represents a scalable and bankable model for clean energy adoption within India’s industrial sector.

Kalyanram Udathu, CEO of Enerparc Energy, said in a statement, “The active response from the off-takers for our Gujarat project demonstrates the strong market confidence in Enerparc’s capabilities and the growing demand among industries for clean, reliable, and cost-efficient power. We are excited to deliver a high-performance solar solution that will help businesses lock in long-term savings while contributing to their sustainability goals.”

The project will operate under the Group Captive Open Access (OA) model, allowing eligible businesses to procure power directly from the plant. This model is gaining traction as it empowers enterprises to secure affordable renewable energy while gaining greater control over their power supply. Through this initiative, Enerparc is reinforcing its commitment to accelerating India’s transition to a more sustainable, resilient, and cost-efficient energy ecosystem by partnering with forward-thinking enterprises across the country.
